      Information Technology Interview

      Ada, MI
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Amway (Ada, MI) in Feb 2010

      Interview

Amway has a process and they stick to it. Apparently it is a long process, you can't be in a hurry. I received a call a month after applying to a posting. It was a great chat with their HR person. Everything went well, they just asked about my experience and where I'd like to be. A month later I contacted the HR person and they said that it was taking a while and would get back with me. A month later I contacted HR again and they said things were still progressing. Another month went by and I contacted HR and they said they were getting close to setting up interviews. All of this said, they were always friendly and quick to respond to my requests. Also, I have talked to others that have interviewed at Amway and they told me to expect a long process. The interview process was straight forward. Met with HR, then the "director" and then the hiring manager, and then the team that I was going to be working with. All in all, a very normal interview process. But scheduled very well. You will always know when/where you will be during the several hours you're there.
