It was 3 rounds interview, all 3 technical rounds. 3rd was mentioned as managerial but it was technical as well. In first round, it was normal chat and basic system design questions. Second one included code review and all. Third was coding round.

Most interactions were centered around real situations and how you approach them, rather than trying to catch you off guard. The panel kept things concise and on track. There was a clear sense of what each round was trying to assess, which helped avoid any guesswork. Decisions were communicated without much lag, and the process didn’t lose momentum at any stage. Closed with an offer.

There were multiple stages in the interview process, but what I really appreciated was that it did not feel like a dry technical process focused only on algorithm questions or generic engineering answers. Instead, the interviews felt much more relevant to the actual day-to-day role and were tailored around my own experience. As part of the process, I completed a pairing exercise, had a discussion with the hiring manager where I presented a system I had worked on in detail and answered questions about it, and also had a final-stage conversation with a department manager focused more on culture and fit. Overall, the process felt fair, engaging, and well thought out. I would definitely recommend Anaplan to anyone considering applying.
