Informal conversations with multiple interested managers in a couple of different offices. I was referred by an employee and it took a few weeks to set up the first call then another month for a lunch conversation then it was decided that I should meet another partner and that took a month to organize. A couple of weeks later, I was told that they were interested in hiring me if I could be billable right away and then a month later, they decided that they could not find a place to bill me so there was no offer forthcoming.
