I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Anduril (Costa Mesa, CA) in Feb 2024
Interview
Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn. I did a phone screen with him, then a video call with the hiring manager, which was mostly culture fit questions. He was late by 10 mins and apologized, so that interview lasted 20 mins. Then, I got the automated rejection email. Reached out for feedback and was told they can't give any due to lawyers advising them to not do so.... Never heard of a company being advised legally to not give feedback. So, I'm just left confused and with a bad impression of the company

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Anduril
Interview
The process began with Engineering manager going through challenges of the role and trying to intimidate applicants. Ultimately he was more interested in that than find out my qualifications. The interview process continues with multiple stages of interviews and possible a trip out to California. Ultimately a 3 month onboarding process in California is required to be familiar with the equipment.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Anduril (Costa Mesa, CA) in May 2026
Interview
(1) Phone call with recruiter, (2) Call with hiring manager, (3) Onsite panel: presentation and 4 separate 30 min interviews. Onsite interview were mostly white board technical problems... basic ME dynamics, structures, materials, GD&T etc.
First a screening with the hiring manager. Then an onsite presentation and interviews with individual team members. The overall experience was positive and gave a good opportunity to understand the company and its culture. I would recommend interviewing there.
