I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Anduril
Interview
The process began with Engineering manager going through challenges of the role and trying to intimidate applicants. Ultimately he was more interested in that than find out my qualifications. The interview process continues with multiple stages of interviews and possible a trip out to California. Ultimately a 3 month onboarding process in California is required to be familiar with the equipment.
Ask about my resume and general things here and there about my work. Mentioned a little bit about what I might work on. This was only the phone interview so there was not much to deep dive in the 30 minutes that I had.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Anduril (Costa Mesa, CA) in May 2026
Interview
(1) Phone call with recruiter, (2) Call with hiring manager, (3) Onsite panel: presentation and 4 separate 30 min interviews. Onsite interview were mostly white board technical problems... basic ME dynamics, structures, materials, GD&T etc.
First a screening with the hiring manager. Then an onsite presentation and interviews with individual team members. The overall experience was positive and gave a good opportunity to understand the company and its culture. I would recommend interviewing there.
