Interview
-Recruiter reached out promptly (1 day after replying) and scheduled an on-site with the manager of the sales development team the following day
-The manager didn’t know my name coming in. Held a normal discussion for 1 hour. I spent the last half hour talking about my relevant experience and my sales internship.
-At the end he explicitly told me he does not hire recent grads (even though it’s an entry-level position and I already had experience in sales AND he had taken the same position when he was a recent grad).
-Concluded with him asking if I would be interested in an internship. I proceeded to tell him that I was solely interested in the role I applied for.
-Told me to write him a follow-up email answering the same questions as I answered in the interview, as well as write why I would be interested in the internship (even though I had made it clear that my sole interest and qualifications were around an entry-level SDR)
-I wrote him the email and never received a response.

Interview
First, a preliminary call interview with appfolio's recruiting department at which time they will discuss your resume. Nothing out of the ordinary here, they just want a little more information about your experience. Next, you are scheduled with an online interview via meetingstogo which you must download prior. The SDR position I applied for was no longer available but they were interested in filling a support engineer position. The interviewer went over the job description and was checking I'd I was still interested and if it was a good fit for me.
