Interview
Initial screen with their external recruiting partner to vet fit and obtain an overview of the role. Next round was 4 virtual interviews which included the hiring manager and 3 potential peers/partners ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour. The interview process was straightforward and easy enough, the fit seemed great and each of the conversations went well. After my final interview, the recruiter went completely dark and wouldn't answer any of my emails asking for an update or feedback. I found it completely unprofessional to treat candidates in this way after dedicating significant time and effort to Appen's interview process. A bit of feedback to Appen and their recruiting partner: show your candidates the smallest amount of respect and decency by at least letting them know when they're no longer under consideration for the role. Ghosting a candidate after rounds of interviews is completely unacceptable for a professional organization.
