      Touch Hardware Engineer Interview

      Apr 1, 2011
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Cupertino, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in Mar 2011

      Interview

Got a cold call from an internal apple recruiter on linkedin. She spoke to me on the phone about touch panel hardware engineering opportunities, and said that the first step in the interview process was a skills test. They give you 24 hours to finish, and it consists of some open ended, and some fundamental electrical engineering questions. After taking the exam, I have a sneaking suspicion that the presentation is every bit as important as the content. I say this because I hand wrote my answers and scanned them in; I happen to know that I got 6/7 correct, however I just didn't polish it up. Well, ok, I did one powerpoint slide for the final question. Best of luck friends.

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Cupertino, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in May 2025

      Interview

A tech screening followed by a second round tech screening. For the third round, surprise! 5 more rounds of tech screening, all interviewers(all engineers) are friendly and professional, except for the hiring manager, who's more blunt and assertive. however, no feedback will be provided as always if you get rejected.

      Question 1

Simple analog circuit questions, all ideal cases.

      Question 1

The skill test had a mix of engineering ,probability and statistic and a hypothetical question and had to make a power point summary of that
