I initially applied for this position in December 2019, the head of People and Legal contacted me for a brief phone screen to determine if I was a good fit. I received an invite for a face to face interview scheduled for January 15th to meet her and several other team members. I made sure to prepare for the interview, learn personnel, and ensure I knew the necessary details of the company. The H.R coordinator greeted me for a brief tour of the office, and then I had a 3-hour interview to meet different teammates. I thought the conversations went well, and I sent a thank you note within 24 hours. Two weeks passed, and I did not hear any feedback. The head of People and Legal mentioned previously they were looking at the end of January or early February for a start date. On January 25th, I emailed the H.R coordinator for a follow up/status on my interview, as I had not received any feedback. She responded quickly and said I should hear something in the next week. Today is Saturday, April 4th, and I still have not received any feedback. I decided to check on February 20th, the companies job page, and the position I had applied for was removed. I believe this is a strong indicator of the Human Resources professionalism and respect towards candidates.
