The interview process took over 2 months. I had 4 separate interviews and a take home assignment which was relatively easy. After submitting the assignment, I started getting the run around. At first, I was told the hiring manager was out sick for a week, then I was told that the company is deliberating to decide how the role fits into their org structure (why wasn't this decided before the job posting?) It started off great, but ended up being a terrible experience for me. It is very unprofessional to keep an applicant waiting for a response for over 3 weeks. I felt my time was wasted. how can you conduct 4 rounds of interview only to realize that it might not fit with your organizational structure? Very disappointed. They are a young company so it's understandable that things might not run as smooth, but for this to happen just during the interview phase, I completely lost interest.
