Was reached out to by a recruiter. I had a call with a hiring manager and then a marathon day which lasted 5 hours. I received no further communication until I followed up multiple times, only to receive a generic rejection message. Overall, the firm felt like it was still highly attached to its formal parent company, DE Shaw, and didn't have its own identity.
