I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Arch Capital Group (London, England) in Sep 2023
Interview
I had four interviews with senior leadership members and two coffees with my colleagues. So, six encounters in total. They like to make sure you meet everybody, up to and including the Arch Re CEO. Expect a lot of deep technical questions. I had to do a case study using a submission that was maybe 5-10 years old. Please update the case study submission.

Question 1
It was a while ago now so can’t remember. What type of analysis did you use in the case study and why; what is the best deal you have ever written; what do you enjoy the least about the job; etc etc etc. My CEO interview was 10-15 quick-fire questions. Intense but I like intense, so worked for me. You need to be solidly competent to work here.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Arch Capital Group
Interview
The interview process for the underwriting position was really smooth and not too formal, which helped put me at ease. It felt more like a friendly conversation than a strict interview. They asked about my background and how I approach risk and decision-making, but in a way that felt natural and easy to talk about. Everyone I spoke with was approachable and down-to-earth, which made the whole experience feel comfortable and welcoming.

Question 1
Tell me about your experience. Why Arch. Weaknesses/Strengths.
I applied online. I interviewed at Arch Capital Group (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
All over the place. Questions you can tell were not specific to the role. I was asked 15 questions, but was cut off short when I wanted to ask my questions. The person that interviewed me didn’t tell me anything about the role, said it was going to be a long process, and I’m going to interview with someone else but she doesn’t know who, and that it was hybrid when it was promoted as remote everywhere else. The interview ran longer than it should have, and interviewer did not have good time management. The interviewer let me know that I only could ask a certain amount of questions “then she had to go.” I let them know I was no longer interested, but they still sent me a rejection letter. This company needs WAY more tailoring in the hiring process.
