Ghosted after six 45 minute interviews over a period of 2 weeks. They use the Grading Method which is supposed vet only the top 10 percent of performers. Which apparently is not that affective considering the unprofessional quality of interviews and lack of professionalism. I first started with the typical interview with the HR recruiter asking the usual questions and providing the next steps. Then came the 45 minute interview with the hiring manager who stated they had another candidate already at the end of their long and intensive interview process, but wanted me to go the next round of competency interviews. I assume he wanted to continue with me in the event the other candidate didn’t work out. One manager who did not even know what position I was interviewing for asked me who the hiring manager was. When I told him, his words were “oh I don’t really know him that well, but I guess he is ok and owes me one since I did an interview for him several months ago” and then proceeded to give me his CV for the past 20 years. After that, I was waiting for my next interviewer to call at the scheduled time, with no call until 15 minutes past our scheduled time. She apologized profusely stating that she was on a phone call (with the hiring manager of all people) and lost track of time. How unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. I was told by one of the interviewers that she would be recommending me to go to the next round, which would consist of a 4 hour in person interview that involved digging into my life history both personally and professionally. Hearing nothing, I followed up with the HR recruiter who said they had a scheduled meeting that week with the hiring manager to discuss the results of the interview and would get back to me. Hearing nothing again a week later, I followed up only to receive deafening silence. One last follow up email, and again no response. If this is how they treat applicants, I can’t imagine how they treat employees.
