I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Artech L.L.C. (Newark, NJ) in Jun 2019
Interview
This was a real mess. I was contacted by email for a job with their client. Expect their client is another staffing firm. So I had to go through twice the number of interviews and screening for a month before the interview onsite with the actual client. So I was phone screened and then had a conference calls with Artech and their client staffing firm first. Nobody spoke English well enough to fully understand what was being said or asked of me. It was very difficult, but I figured I would wait until I met with the actual client manager. I had another phone interview with the middle man (staffing firm) who is onsite with the actual client and is part of the team. This guy calls me in a panic 2 hours before the onsite interview to interview me again, and tells me the job requirements have completely changed. Again, this is 2 hours before the onsite interview. So I am dressing and getting ready to leave and this guy almost makes me late to meet with the actual client. Why on earth did the requirements change over a month ago when they first contacted me, I don't know, but this was the situation. This was really unprofessional, and never experienced this kind of stuff anyplace else. The interview with everyone from Artech was very difficult simply because I couldn't understand most of what they were saying and I had to ask them to repeat it. It was pretty clear they were reading from a script of questions, which they could have simply emailed to me so I knew what was being said. Very poorly run company.
