Phone screen with recruiter from Artech for a role at Fitbit. We discussed my availability to work, reviewed the generic role description, interview process and contract details. I asked about Artech's role in managing the work (they don't), why the role title is PMM but the job description sounds like a Program Manager and asked for more details about the scope of the role. Recruiter mentioned the job has been open for 1 month (red flag) and that they want the person to start in less than 2 weeks (logistically unlikely) giving me a weird feeling. Recruiter asked me to agree to the rate before fully understanding the scope of the role, which I refused and the conversation ended. Disappointing overall experience.
