I participated in an initial phone screen; and then a teams interview with the hiring manager and a few of their colleagues. I received a phone call a few days later stating that there was a "red flag" in my interview responses in that because I took a few months off of work, that I might not be able to handle the stress of working. Allegedly, I told the hiring team that I resigned from my previous place of employment due to burnout, which isn't something I would say, because that isn't the reason I resigned from my previous position. Since I'm a few decades away from retirement, I'll be continuing my job search elsewhere.
