I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Arup (Edinburgh, Scotland) in Jan 2022
Interview
Begins nice and friendly with an intro, then a technical question - after which you need to talk about your answer to the technical question in the 1hour interview, followed by competency questions and then what you want to ask them.
Understand what they're looking for and their company aims!!!
Then it's the case study, 30mins to read and prep followed by 5mins to talk about your answer to the questions and then you can explain your answer after the 5mins plus bonus questions.
Lastly, it's the virtual office tour and graduate networking, very chilled and laid back end to the day.
Multi-stage interview. Final stage is an assessment centre that lasts about 3 hours, involving a case study interview (answering how you would approach a theoretical project) and a more typical interview

Question 1
Describe a project when you've had to complete work timely with competing deadlines.
It was a lot more casual than what I am used to. But this was certainly welcomed. Felt the hiring managers were genuinely interested in getting to know you and your ambitions
