Interview
I applied online. The interview was scheduled after a week as the hiring manager was keen to meet me after reviewing my CV. The interview was conducted my the hiring manager and associate. It took the format of semi-formal. They presented themselves, the team, Arup values. I presented my experience. The questions were mostly interactive ans nothing surprising. I have been asked why Arup, my motivation, and technical questions like notice period.

Arup’s interview process was professional, well structured, and engaging. The interviewers were approachable, asked relevant technical and behavioural questions, and provided clear communication throughout each stage of the recruitment journey.

Technical expertise and previous consulting background
Initial telephone call and then online 1 hour interview. Fair questions linked to Arups vales and behaviours, technical case study presented for 20 mins plus fairly basic questions to test understanding, client based. Never got a response on how the interview had gone, disappointing.

Multiple stages, meeting team leader, line manager, directors. Mixed questions on both experience and capabilities. This was supplemented with calls from the internal recruitment team in between stages, which was useful.
