Few days after I applied, was asked to do a personality and cognitive test online. Had no idea why this was part of the selection process. The cognitive test was basically an IQ test involving some logical and math questions. Soon after, HR reached out to set up an initial phone screen. We spoke on the phone briefly, and talked about my experiences. They said the next steps would be a phone interview with the hiring manager. Few days have gone by, and I haven't gotten a confirmation for next steps. I followed up and they said hiring manager did not have a response yet, and would let me know when something comes up. It has now been three weeks since we last spoke, and still no response. Bad recruiting practice in general, and the slow responses are not very start-up like.
