I had a total of 5 interviews, one of them in office for about 2 hours. I first had a screening with the recruiter., an interview with the person who would be my boss,. Before I met them face to face, the recruiter wanted me to take a personality exam. I took the exam and then went for my face to face interview with the same man I interviewed previously. At the end of the face to face interview, I was assured that they would let me know one way or another of their decision. Before that decision could be made I interviewed over the phone with the Director of Marketing and an hour later the COO because it was such an important position. The COO let me know that I would be notified of their decision "soon." After a week of hearing nothing, I emailed the recruiter to find out my status.
Silence. Absolutely nothing.
I spent quite a bit of time in prepping for these interviews plus going downtown to see their facilities, and they didn't have the common courtesy - or decency - to say I wasn't their guy for the position. That's just rude and totally unprofessional.
