I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AstraZeneca (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2021
Interview
The process was smooth at the beginning where I applied, got shortlisted, was required to do video interview. Then when I wanted to check status of my application on Workday, I was denied access. I couldn’t even reset my password and got a message that my account didn’t exist. I tried to contact Talent acquisition manager but got no response. I got worried about loss of my personal data. Reached out to talent acquisition in US who pushed the local Talent acquisition to answer me. They denied any problems with the career site. To my surprise almost 2 months later the same position with the same code was posted. I was able to create a new profile in the same career section with the same email address. If my data was not lost/deleted then I shouldn’t be able to do so.
I wouldn’t be interested to work in company that has a non professional talent acquisition team and a company that doesn’t protect the personal data of candidates.
