I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Asurion (New York, NY) in Apr 2018
Interview
I had originally interviewed for a Sprint Sales Consultant, and when I expressed my interest in phone repair the regional manager set me up with an interview with Asurion. The interview was great, he asked me about my previous experience and my interest in phone repair. It was comfortable and I felt like he was really interested in my passions. I recieved a call a day later saying I had the job. Very simple background check process, the recruiters are on top of making sure you get set up. Overall it takes about a week to two weeks and the start date is usually set when they have classes scheduled.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What made you interested in repairing cell phones?
The most unprofessional company I’ve ever interview with in my life! The interview process at first seemed amazing and streamlined.
I sent in my app through indeed.com and Asurion sent me an email an hour later asking me to submit one on their official site. I did and received an email the next day asking me when I wanted to set up a phone interview. I scheduled the interview for the next day and it was a very short simple phone screen.
After we hung up, I received a phone call from them 10 minutes later and was asked if I wanted to move onto the next process which was a video interview with a hiring manager. I agreed and scheduled it for the next day.
Next day comes and I receive a text from Asurion saying the hiring manager couldn’t make it and to call them to reschedule. I do and the rep tells me they’ll give me a call next week since the hiring manager isn’t available to confirm a new date. Come next week I get a call that I missed asking to reschedule. I call back, no answer. Leave a voicemail. They call again the next day and I missed it because I’m in school. I call back not even 20 minutes later. No answer. I call them back a few more times through out the day, no answer. I can’t even leave a voicemail at this point because their inbox is full. I haven’t heard back from them in a week.
Ridiculously unprofessional company. Like seriously do you guys only have like 2 people working in HR? You guys can’t even clear your voicemails? NO ONE is there to answer a phone call through out the day? Ridiculous. Nice playing phone tag with you but I’m onto the next.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Asurion (Raleigh, NC) in Oct 2019
Interview
First a phone interview with a recruiter, then an interview with the District Manager. Both were engaging, both were personable and went with the flow of the conversation rather than going off a sheet of paper. Overall it was a great experience!
