Landed the interviews through my professional network. Had phone interviews with three people at the Vice President & Senior Vice President level.
The second executive I interviewed with asked me personal questions such as "Do you have a family?" which raised red flags for potential discrimination.
The third executive I interviewed with really liked what I had to offer Asurion. When we wrapped up our call, she mentioned she wanted to get me in contact with other executives at the company and that she'd be traveling on business the following week. I set up our follow-up meeting for the week after (when she'd be back in the office). When the day came, I received an Outlook meeting cancellation notice with no explanation and no request to reschedule. Both the executive and her executive assistant ignored my calls/emails to follow up.
Between the discriminatory line of questioning about my marital/family status and getting "ghosted" by a senior executive and her assistant, I can say the interview process lacks professionalism. It's one thing not to hear back about a resume submission, but it's quite another to speak with multiple senior executives and then get ghosted.
