Atkins Engineering Internship interview questions

I submitted an online application and was invited to an interview at the office in Bristol. I was interviewed by two graduates who first asked simple questions about my CV. I was then asked a series of technical questions specifically pertaining to nuclear power. I was caught off guard as the description for the internship was vague and didn't mention anything about nuclear power. At the end of the interview, as I was unable to answer a couple of the questions I was fairly certain that I would not be made an offer so I asked the interviewers for feedback, they told me that they could not provide me with feedback at that time but I would receive feedback in the email communicating whether or not I received an offer. I received an automated rejection email 3 months later with no feedback.
