The recruiter on the phone was informative and helpful in explaining the role, however, it was evident in the interview process that the hiring manager either did not have my resume or LinkedIn profile, as they referenced.a company as part of my experience that I never worked for. I found the interview to be awkward, stressful (felt as if some tactics used in stress interviews were used), and I felt that I was not listened to (hiring manager repeated the same question twice), and would ask questions that I had already answered in earlier parts of the interview (ex, I talked about my working with employees around the world, and then further in the interview the hiring manager asked if I had experience working with international employees). I was left feeling very confused about what exactly this role was trying to accomplish, and what initiatives this team had on their roadmap for the upcoming year. Ultimately, I did not want to progress further in the process. It was overall disappointing because Atlassian has great technology and a brilliant blog, ideology, admirable leadership, etc.
