Role-play mock discovery call interview (that’s the final stage) I used the wrong qualification methodology, so I didn’t get the job. All worked out okay in the end!

1. Initial Recruiter Screening (30 minutes) A recruiter will reach out to discuss your background, experience, and interest in the role. They will ask salary expectations and why you’re interested in Atlassian 2. Hiring Manager Interview (45-60 minutes) A more in-depth conversation about your sales methodology, deal execution, and experience managing customer relationships. They ask for you to walk through a past deal, focusing on your strategy, challenges, and outcomes. Questions could include how you handle objections, manage a pipeline, and collaborate cross-functionally. 3. Panel Interviews / Virtual Onsite (2-3 rounds) 1 Sales Role-Specific Interview with a peer: A deeper dive into your sales process, negotiation skills, and ability to drive customer adoption. Mock Sales Presentation: prepare and present a pitch to sell Atlassian product to a hypothetical customer 4. Final Round (Executive Interview - Optional) If applicable, a conversation with a senior leader (Director or VP) to assess cultural fit and strategic thinking. They may ask about your long-term vision, how you align with Atlassian’s values, and how you would contribute to their go-to-market strategy.
