I interviewed with people from the global office who portrayed that I would work in a global role, but this did not turn out to be true and the local hiring manager quit after I accepted the job. This left me in a very difficult position. Inquiry about the realities of the business situation and proposed targets were not true later. The escalation paths and reporting lines turned out to be different than represented.
