I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Autodesk (Singapore) in Sep 2022
Interview
My interview process was very different from the last time I applied for the company. The recruiter was pretty unresponsive and required constant follow ups to prompt him to move me to the next step which ended up dragging the whole process to take more than 2 months. Overall, there is an online coding test on codesignal, a coding interview, a systems design interview and hiring manager interview. The codesignal test is 3 Questions and it was pretty easy compared to their typical daily practice tests. For the coding interview, I got a leetcode hard.
Typical software engineer process. First telephone resume screening. and then OA and then Onsite interview. Each step is average difficult. But HR did ask some personal private questions which made me unconfortable.
3 rounds, not that stressful, love the environment. more like to chat. And maybe it would be better to prepare some tech questions, it sould be really helpful. But the tech comes until the second, and third round is more like behavior questions.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Autodesk in Apr 2026
Interview
I first had a call with the recruiter to discuss the role, my background, and my experience. After that, I was invited to Round 1 with the manager.
The interview was mostly behavioral and focused heavily on teamwork, collaboration, and communication-related topics. Toward the end, there were also a few technical questions covering C++, DSA fundamentals, and other stuff related to the role.
Overall, the process felt professional and respectful. The manager was kind, approachable, and treated me with respect throughout the interview.
