      Interview

It was great, hiring manager, then engineer, then another PM. Overall good experience but did not hear back after. I think they're seeing a lot of growth with the AI development and hype right now

      Product Manager Interview

      Nov 9, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Bengaluru
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Automation Anywhere (Bengaluru) in Sep 2021

      Interview

Overall 6 rounds of interview took place with last round of case study. The process lasted for 2 months where there were multiple rounds focused on Product Management, technical skills, scenario based questions and focus on individual work related achievements. My take post interview: Even though the interview process went long and interactions were good with individuals, overall when I reflect back it is a negative and unpleasant experience for me. When the organization started interviewing, it is normally at the initial phases where I should have got informed and also the panel should have been confident whether the candidate is suitable for the role that has been defined and laid out. But in the case of Automation Anywhere I find it surprising that after 4-5 rounds of interviews the people involved in panel failed to judge a candidate in terms of his skills and technical knowledge, for which they have to request for a case study round (where preparation was done despite of my full time job) and post which the outcome was negative - with a feedback that the candidate is good in presenting and product management but lacks technical skills. I find it extremely unprofessional and believe that this organization is one of the worst process and ethical oriented companies who doesn’t value candidates' time, efforts and importantly doesn’t have the vision and outlook oriented people who can make rightful choice to select the candidates required for respective roles.
