The interview process lasted from early July until late September of last year. It consisted of 5 interviews, each about 20-40 minutes in length. The interviews themselves were easy, but they were frequently rescheduled (in terms of date, time, and location [in-person/virtual/virtual system used]) and it was clear the different people I was interviewing with had no communication with each other. I did most of the legwork in informing each of the different parties that my interview was completed, and following up about next steps.
It ended with my final interview occuring, no rejection or confirmation, and I emailed the recruiter weeks after the final interview. I was met with a series of emails, calls, and texts of apologies that nobody contacted me, and I was sent a generic 2-sentence rejection letter, after months of interviewing.
