Overall the process was very professional. I met with the hiring manager and two other planners within the team. They asked typical planning questions and situational questions. Some questions were trickier than others; however, they are only looking to see how you would fir within the team. The final interview was with Human Resources. HR told me they were still midway through the interview process and PolyOne was slow at responding. I waited 4 weeks and contacted HR for an update. No one responded to me. I waited another 3 weeks (7 weeks in total) and no one responded to me. If this is how PolyOne wants to recruit people, then they may want to have been open communication with their candidates who they bring in. It appears they are just waiting for the best candidate and rather than hire the best fit once they interview a candidate, they would rather leave the position open for 5 months or longer.
