Was contacted by P1 internal HR recruiter. Polite, friendly. Role was clearly spelled out in job description. Salary. bonus, etc was in line with role & responsibilities. The interviews went according to plan. I felt comfortable answering any questions about my skills, knowledge and experience. I came away thinking this was a slam dunk. No word for 2 weeks. I called and no reply. 3-4 weeks later they contact me and said they were reorganizing and would get back to me. No decision was made. Surprise! 2 months later they call back and want me to take another day off and interview for the same role. Met 50% of the same people and then the old school decision maker. I was prepared and felt, once again, this was a slam dunk. No answer for weeks. I called numerous times to find out what happened. A senior leader did call me back and said the last person I met thought I didn't want the job since I didn't ask any questions. !!! Well after being there multiple times, doing my research, meeting and answering 10+ peoples questions, and knowing the company for 20+ years, I didn't have any more questions.
Needless to say I am happy I did not end up here. The location is not ideal either.
Last, it too 3 phone calls to get reimbursed for my expenses, car, hotel, meals, etc. That sort of sloppy HR should serve as a warning.
