I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Axon in May 2021
Interview
Over 1.5ish months I connected with a large cross-section of Axon employees--peers, managers, dotted lines, internal customers, and leaders. There were some consistent questions (e.g., work I was proud of. data driven decision making), but for the most part each interviewer came with their own perspective. It was useful to be able to compare their answers to look for consistencies across the org and get a clearer picture of the role and the context in which it would operate.
I really appreciated the interviewers' candor and approachability--refreshing in an interviewing process. I was also grateful for the org's flexibility to schedule follow-up calls to answer additional questions I had.
Most interviews were fairly straight forward, but there was one in particular that was a bit more difficult with some hard driving questions. Overall, I was impressed by the caliber of the team and opportunity of the role.
