I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BDO (Phila, PA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Interview was an all day process beginning with a question forum where the group of interviewees where able to ask a panel of entry-level employees about their experiences with the firm. After the panel, candidates were scheduled to interview with 3 different staff members ranging from managers to partners. Following the interviews staff and candidates joined each other for lunch where they had the opportunity to further socialize and interact. I believe it was a very thorough and well structured interview process that encouraged candidates to learn as much as possible about the firm directly from the staff. They issued me a response within 1 business day following the interview which was a pleasant surprise.

Question 1
How do you manage your time between academics and extracurricular activities?
From my experience, BDO's recruitment process moves quite quickly. HR often contacts shortlisted candidates on short notice. For instance, test results may be released on the 2nd, while the HR screening interview is scheduled on the 4th. This means candidates need to be prepared and flexible, as there is usually little time to prepare between stages.

The interviewers are helpful and fun, and very responsive. It is a group interview and 3 people in a room with 4 interviewers, it started with an online assessment 6 questions, include logical thinking, and few problem solving questions and after that interview session started.
