I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BMO Financial Group (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2018
Interview
I submitted my resume via school's career website and then caught an email about scheduling a phone interview. Then a week later, I had my first round phone interview and soon I got notified that I had a superday a week after the first phone call. BMO was willing to fly me out to the superday for the interview. HR was also really helpful with logistics.
Standard investment banking questions, stock pitch. One round.
Why this sector, tell me about a time x, why x location, why should we hire you, etc, behaviourals. Standard technicals from guide.
Nice interviewers, pretty standard behavioral and technical. Had little prior experience in banking/ finance and interviewers were understanding and helpful. Overall positive experience to learn for this internship application process.
