I applied online. I interviewed at BMO US (Milwaukee, WI)
Interview
Interviewed with a recruiter over the phone and the conversation couldn’t have been better. Moved on to a Zoom interview with two different managers. Felt as if they were very to-the-script and didn’t leave much room for me to add any personality in the mix. I was left feeling extremely awkward simply for not being as robotic as they were. Even with loan processing experience at a major competitor and demonstrated achievements within the role along with perfectly answered questions that proved I knew my stuff, I wasn’t given the courtesy of a rejection (or any communication) for an entire month. I am wise enough to know when I’m the problem, or if my expectations are too high, but this was most definitely not one of those times.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at BMO US (Naperville, IL) in Feb 2016
Interview
It was standard interview that lasted 30mins. The questions related mostly to previous experience I had with processing loans. The person who interviewed me was very pleasant. The way that they process loans and the location were my deciding factors.
