There was a single interview with the Hiring Manager, his peer, and his Manager. It started with a good technical discussion and then the VP asks an interesting question.

Question 1
After a good technical discussion, the VP asked this question: "If your great uncle died and left you 1000 plain white coffee mugs, what would you do with them?"
I applied online. I interviewed at BNY (Manchester, England) in Jun 2025
Interview
Poor experience. HR emailed with a list of questions related to generic product management responsibilities. Post the response, an interview was scheduled with hiring manager. The hiring manager asked generic behaviour questions. Post the interview, I was completely ghosted by recruiter. Not even a mail mentioning you have not been selected.

Question 1
The questions asked were generic like - how do you manage competing priorities? How do you manage stakeholders? An example of managing the conflict etc
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at BNY (New York, NY) in Jun 2022
Interview
I was contacting on LinkedIn several times for this position from the BNYM recruiter. I had a phone conversation with her and I advised her that I had another offer in-hand. She fast tracked a meeting with the hiring manager that same day. Within the 3 days she had meetings scheduled with the team and other teams I'd be working with. Therefore, I had a Total of 6 interviews.
A week later I received an offer, did one counter off and accepted the position and I'm really happy I choice BNYM over another start up company.
