I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BNY (Pittsburgh, PA) in May 2018
Interview
Interview process was completely convoluted. Scheduled an in person interview....day before the interview i was called by 4 people trying to do phone interviews only for them to discover a few minutes later it was supposed to be an onsite interview. Showed up for the first interview and the manager was too busy to interview so I interviewed with 4 others from the local office and 2 from a remote office. After weeks of no updates I followed up myself about a secondary attempt at interviewing with the hiring manager and was told that HR was never told I needed this. After another week passing HR scheduled a second interview with the hiring manager. He showed up late and was not particularly friendly.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BNY (Wellesley, MA) in Dec 2016
Interview
Was contacted by HR for a job that was not posted on their website. HR screeningh was simple and based on my resume. But guess they havent heard that asking current salary is unlawful. Met about 6 folks for face to face interview. All great folks and the only good part pf this experience. Reached out to HR to followup and havent hear back, been a month. HR is probably the next area that will be extinct soon.
