Interview Process:
I applied online and was contacted by an internal recruiter within a few days. Unfortunately, the recruiter missed our first scheduled call. When we eventually connected, the conversation covered only very basic questions, though they were positive about my prospects.
I advanced to the next round with a team member, who also missed the first scheduled Zoom interview. Once rescheduled, that discussion went smoothly. The final stage was a video call with the department head and another team member. The questions were fairly easy, and the tone was polite and professional.
Observations:
- Multiple interviewers failed to show up for scheduled meetings, which reflected poorly on the process.
- The team I met with appeared to completely lack diversity.
- Despite positive conversations, I was never given a formal decline, even months after the final interview.
Overall Impression:
The process felt disorganized and gave the impression that a preferred candidate may have already been selected. While everyone was courteous in conversation, the repeated scheduling issues and lack of follow-up created a frustrating experience.
