The interview process for the Data Science Manager position at BT Group was thorough and well-organised. Initially, I met with the hiring manager for an in-depth discussion about the role and my experience. The second stage involved a panel interview with the same manager and the Head of Finance, where they explored my technical skills and strategic approach. Overall, the experience was professional and efficient.

stuff around experience and technical knowledge in finance
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at BT Group (London, England) in May 2019
Interview
There were 2 main rounds with the Manager, named "Phil" in their London office.
After the interview they called me to inform that we are happy to offer you and would share the official offer in a day or two. I contacted them in 3-4 days regarding the official offer letter and the recruiter said " we've 2 positions to fill so we are finding the best skillset that matches yours". I chased them for weeks and they always said that you are our first guy because of which I had to put my other offer on hold. Finally, I was recently told that they've hired someone else. It's good that you hired someone else but it's a request that you value a candidates time and please don't commit on something you can't deliver.
