I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at BT Group (Truro, England) in Nov 2016
Interview
I was asked to attend an assessment centre after a 15 minute telephone interview. It was quite laid back as it was for Manpower based at BT (I heard that for permanent BT staff the interviews were harder). There were 4 of us on the day and we just spent time introducing ourselves, stating briefly why we wanted to work for the company then we had a 45 minute presentation about the company, we then were taken off to listen in to calls with advisors for about 40 minutes and then we went back to the room to chat about the calls we heard and how the advisors handled them. Word of warning, if you critiqued the advisor you would not get any further! I was told this by a manager in the call centre. We were then asked who would we take as a date to a dinner party & why then a talk about leave & hours and then finish. The whole thing took 3 hours. I was then contacted the next day.
