Multiple steps, starting with a multiple-choice quiz on what you believe are the right practises in treating customers, and how BT works in this regard. It will take a week or a few weeks to contact you after this. The second step is a Skype interview on similar subjects, and also on your CV, how you worked and projects which highlight your abilities. If you pass this, it is another week or so. If you get past this stage you have a technical interview on the phone. This isn't coding-based, but will talk about coding practises, algorithms, and data structures. It is a quite relaxed experience. The last part is an assessment centre. The worst part about it, is it's in Ipswich, and they only help you with £50 travel, whereas you can spend £100+ easily. It's multi-step, with a group exercise, CV-based interview, code/technical interview, and a presentation on a given topic (5-10 minutes long). It's a long day, but not too difficult, with graduates there with you, so you can ask loads of questions
