2 x Video call interviews with design leads 1st round assessed UX capability - Interviewer had 2 screens and was looking away from me for the most part making it hard to get an understanding for the interview. Nor was the potential job role described to me adequately. 2nd round interview assessed UI capability - interviewer was condescending and came across arrogant regularly making comments on the work I was demonstrating which were just flat out negative criticisms. I get that the interviewer wants to determine whether you’re a suitable candidate for the role but he was downright rude. And I felt foolish coming off the call. If that’s just in an interview I’d loathe to have to report back to him as my superior. Would have turned down the job as role wasn’t outlined initially, and the attitude of the second design lead was so poor it put me off. Moreover the turnaround time to let me know about my success rates was poor between the two interviews and in all took nearly 4 weeks to complete the process. Very poor communication.
