I had 3 rounds of interviews in fairly quick succession. The 1st interview was on the phone with my future line manager and it was quite standard, inquiring about my experience and ambitions. The next round was done in less than 1 week after the first one and it was split into 2 sessions. The first one was a written assignment, the 2nd one was a video conferencing session, one-on-one with the line manager. The written task was quite relevant to the job and I actually enjoyed it, as it provided some insight to the job requirements. The video conferencing session was a good conversation and I had the opportunity to ask all my questions. The decision was pretty much made at this point, I just had a 3rd round to confirm details with the Director of the division.

In the application form they asked if I had any accessibility requirements for the interview and I requested that the questions be pasted in the chat box as they are asked (ADHD short term memory and auditory processing issues). At the interview they didn’t do this which put me at a disadvantage. One of the interviewers asked pointed questions after each of my answers and would cut me off when I started speaking. They said they would get back to me within a week but I didn’t hear anything for over a month (despite chasing). I emailed my feedback about the lack of accessibility but did not get a response. Disappointing.
