After CV screening, asked to complete an online test of 16 questions (4 questions each on 4 different areas) within 20 minutes.
Test is relatively simple if you've done basic data analysis before (things like - What is the total % of something, and Expressed as a % of something else, how much is x vs. y)
The problem occurred during the F2F.
I met with the HR rep who was part of the team I was interviewing for. Some basic questions first (talk me through your CV, tell me a time where you've worked with ambiguity), but then I was questioned about specific financial delivery capabilities that I'd never dealt with in my career.
I mentioned that I couldn't really give an answer because my experience wasn't in that field.
The reply was that the job required these types of skills and experience.
I asked why I had been asked in for interview in that case - What parts of my CV were attractive and considered to be relevant to the role.
It was clear the HR rep hadn't read my CV (neither during screening, nor before the interview), or had just skimmed it to the point that enough keywords warranted bringing me in, wasting both mine and their time.
I was informed that they would get back to me to see if they could consider taking me further based on what my skill set actually was. At this point, I had been turned off by the company entirely.
Didn't hear back from them. Total shambles. Not a recommended choice for anyone serious about their time and career.
