I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bahama Breeze (Princeton, NJ) in Jan 2020
Interview
You apply to Bahama Breeze online. Once they review your application you will have 2 Interviews. The first interview will discuss about yourself. The second interview would be discussing why they should hire you. Once your are hired you are given a trial run and expected to know the menu within a week. After that you are on your own and working by yourself.
Easy enough. They ask typical questions about customer service and serving. Just talk about your experience and seem friendly. Also, be sure to have weekend availability as that is a basic requirement for serving jobs. You can change your availability later.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bahama Breeze (Pembroke Pines, FL) in Mar 2024
Interview
Came in to meet the bar manager. Chatted and had a "get to know you" interview. Quick turnaround, she asked me to come back to meet the server and food service managers when they were scheduled to come in. They got to know me, asked my availability. You won't get hired if you can't work the weekends. They want someone who matches the vibe of the rest of the team members. They also won't hire you as a server without experience.
