I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bain & Company (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2017
Interview
Applied through my university and after a short turnaround was asked to complete an on campus interview. I had this first interview a few days later and that night was called that I made it to the second round. Second round interviews were the following week at Bain's office. In the first round interviews you have two case interviews and may spend 5 min top with behavioral questions. In the final round interviews you have three cases with two managers and a partner. The interviews are mostly cases, but again may leave a few minutes for behavioral questions.

Question 1
A city is known for its sports, but is trying to attract tourists for its theatre scene. How can it best build up this scene?
2 rounds of interviews, each round consisting of 3 interviews with cases. In the first round 2 case interviews and 1 with HR. In the 2nd round you have 3 interviews with more senior profiles like managers and partners.
Interviewers were really nice, but the process was difficult. Standard level cases and they expected you to take them through multiple business problems. If you practice casing frequently with multiple partners, you should be fine.

Question 1
Please walk me through how you would approach this case.
2 cases for R1. Pretty straightforward cases about revenue optimization opportunities. There was a little bit of market sizing but all data needed was given. No behaviorals asked in round 1 for me.
