Interview
Die Firma hat aufgrund COVID-19 aktuell einen Einstellungsstopp und wollte es damals nicht öffentlich zugeben, um ihr "cooles" Image aufrechtzuerhalten. Die Interviews wurden so aufgestellt, dass Bewerber rausfliegen: absichtlich Cases mit unmöglichen Rechnungen und Komplexitäten ausgewählt, und Interviewer aus Industriebereichen verwendet, die keineswegs zum eigenen Hintergrund passen.
Schade, dass die Firma hier nicht über ihren eigenen Schatten springen konnte - Am Ende war es nur verschwendete Zeit für Interviewer, Interviewee und HR. Mittlerweile konnte sich die Firma überwinden, und führt bis August/September keine Interviews mehr durch.

Question 1
Die Case-Interviews waren an Schwierigkeitsgrad (Quantitativ, Qualitativ) und Themenauswahl absichtlich so aufgestellt, dass jeder Kandidat nur durchfallen kann. Rechnungen wären selbst mit Taschenrechner unpraktikabel gewesen. Die Firma will aktuell schlichtweg niemanden einstellen, ist sich aber zu schade, das coole Image aufzugeben und zuzugeben, dass sie aufgrund Corona einen Einstellungsstopp verhängt haben. Schade.
Das Case-Format war vom Ablauf her zudem nicht der Standardmässige "Bain Case", bei dem ab und zu Slides und Charts gezeigt werden.
Very long process. I heard that they relied heavily on seeing if we were able to use our feedback to improve throughout the rounds however because one of my interviews was running late I was not able to get any feedback to improve.
It was fine. The partner round interviews were less structured and much more difficult. Majority of my interviewers were really nice which made the process better than what I had anticipated.
2 rounds of interviews, each round consisting of 3 interviews with cases. In the first round 2 case interviews and 1 with HR. In the 2nd round you have 3 interviews with more senior profiles like managers and partners.
