      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me why you chose your degree major. What factors did you consider? Which schools did you consider and why? What about your current program do you find really interesting? Which parts of your course work do you find the most difficult and what actions do you take to ensure you meet the required standards for work you don’t really enjoy? Describe an occasion when you needed to plan how best to use your time and resources to meet a tight deadline. What was the task? How did you plan? Describe the efforts you took to meet the deadline? How will an internship help you decide on your choice of company when you graduate? Give an example of when you lead a group through a challenging situation. What was the situation? What actions did you take to lead the group so it was a rewarding experience for everyone? What obstacles did you overcome? How did you handle non-co-operative group members? What was the outcome? What would you do differently if you faced the same situation again? A good idea / suggestion can sometimes be met with opposition. Please describe a recent situation where you had to deal with resistance to an idea you presented. Outline the background. What was the resistance? How did you deal with it? In which ways did you modify your idea / suggestion? Was your idea / suggestion finally accepted? If yes, how was that achieved? What did you learn from this experience?
