      Manufacturing Engineer Interview

      Dec 16, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Westminster, CO
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ball Aerospace (Westminster, CO) in Dec 2021

      Interview

Weird process. Got contacted a week after applying. 3 different recruiters got back to me to learn more about my background. Recruiter was confused and explained that the specific position I applied for was already being offered to someone else. They say that there is a "need" in more manufacturing positions. Not sure if this is due to more programs and contracts or if people are just leaving the position.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Ball Aerospace

      Interview

Heard back to schedule a phone interview two weeks after applying. Standard interview questions, nothing out of the ordinary. Then heard a week after that to schedule another interview with a panel. Interview was about an hour with standard interview questions. Heard about a week or so after that interview for the offer. Overall a good experience. I recommend asking questions throughout the interview as you should be seeing if the company is a good fit just as much as they are trying to gauge if you are a good fit.

      Interview

Mostly generic questions. Overall a good experience but a little annoyed that I was led on after such a long process. From start to finish was almost 7 weeks and after final interview that seemed to go very well… crickets. Maybe they didn’t like my tie.
